Christmas is a coming ....

I am reallllly bad at this aren't I???....I was going to do the posting and suddenly it's December already...where did November go...???

This is a new listing on Ebay....the The Three Kings from the Nativity could be one use...

I have also done a lot of new cuts...Snowmen and Holly, with or without Fairies :)...and a couple of others...but can't find the cable for the camera to connect to the computor, so am a bit restricted...Chris has a block that will work, but that's in Poole this week..;)

I've got two birthday cards to make by Friday...for my Aunts 60th in February...we're doing them now as She's over here visiting from France, where she now lives...know what I want to do though...:)...

Oooohhhh...I hurt today :(

No photo today as I'm not getting any contact to the main PC...:(....

I'm hurting as Last Weekend I painted the ceiling...twice...and my shoulder is killing me...especially as I've just spent the evening emptying the Office shelves....two bags of recycling magazines and cardboard, and one of rubbish :)...

Although both the kitchen and Office are nearly done....paint the walls...and the Office needs the desks sorting out...will have to do that this weekend....who's going to tell Chris lol...

Well...better get to bed so I can get the cutting done in the morning...Joy x x

I know...I know...

A second posting in as many days.....whats going on :)....well today I'm waiting for 9 o'clock to take Mum to Pyshio at the Hospital...so keeping up to date....

Today's image is of Halloween Cauldrens.....they have a green potion or a purple potion with silver 'smoke' and a big 'wooden' spoon...as well as Halloween I thouht they could be used for cooks in general, or for scrapping a meal that didn't go quite so well :)

and now I must do a little glueing before I go and collect Mum....see you all again soon..Joy x x

How naughty am I....

the answer is 'very'...all the business advice given says keep in touch and up to date....problem I've got is finding the time to do it all....Chris has just had me walking back and forth to the dining room looking for a phone number, while I try and type this....typical...



Well...keeping in Season I've put together a selection of Halloween Die Cuts....and today I'm showing you the Bats.....they are well feed with fat little tummies, and have little yellow eyes...I've highlighted them with silver pen.....



I'm supposed to be going to weightwatchers....but I'm not sure I want to :(...

Riding High.....

Back from holidays....with loads of work to be done, and loads of washing....:)

This card was made a while back, and I think I have shown it before, but for some reason the die cuts have not been doing well, possibly due to the size....so I thought I'd remind folks on one option open to them...

I managed to get four new cuts done while away...not bad as Chris banned me from taking any work with me...lol....but they photo's are on his laptop, so need to rearrange them....

When I get a chance I'll download the photo's I took while away....I've been playing with the camera in an attempt to improve the images.....

Bitty Ballerina's....

Did these for a lady that was part of a London Show...She gave me a description of each girl and I endeavoured to re-create them as these bitty ballerina's....so cute :)

Having done these, I've also enhanced the sports sets...a footballer, cricketer, rugby player, basketballer and netball girls, each with their own balls and bats....great fun....I must also get the Romans and Normans that I did ages ago for another project, and the bitty Witch....of course it's also a matter of demand, so a bit wary to list things that may not be popular....

Life has continued to be hecktic as the end of the school year approaches...this is Gareth's last year, up to Secondary school in September, and the stress is begining to show...at home at least ... ;)...

Trains....Or Rather Engines....

I have to be correct for the fans out there...and that includes me for Steam....just love the Smell and the Noise.. :) ....Still this little set aren't so little...but will fill a card beautifully and add that dimension what ever age...will accent a scrapnook page well too, wether 12x12 or 8x8...probably a bit too big for 6x6.. :)

Been quite busy...as ever...seem to have got back to the busy time at school...Gareth is doing his transition to secondary school, so a bit topsy turvy...plus a trip to France next tuesday... :o ...them sports day on Friday.....I seem to have been up every week recently for school meetings...and I have to say I'm usually the only one....intro to new school teachers, and a health / diet thing...surely I'm not the only parent that cares...maybe I am....

Well, on that note...I'm away to sleep....got five sets of Westies to make up tomorrow...Joy x x

Tractors and Treats....

Well so much for going to bed earlier...still sat here, but I'm not taking Pinky (my Laptop) upstairs with me this time :)

Have at last completed the tractor collection...and they are so cute...there's a children's programme called 'The Little Red Tractor', so had to include one for that...and the other colours are similar that which can actually be found in the fields and yards...plus in the front of the traffic jam on the way to the camp site :D

I've also been playing with two other new dies...a big Icecream's with Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry flavours...and also Lollipop's...still playing with this though as it doesn't look quite right yet...got some great colours though :)....will take photo's tomorrow as I've got new Motorbikes and Engines too....

So this month I'm going to endeavour to update a bit more often...although I don't want to be doing it at this time of night each time....

Photo's...Photo's....Photo's.....

Had our Annual Exhibiton Competition on Tuesday, at the Camera Club...Didn't do very well...one photo out of eight got a mention...one guy got 1st's in at least four of the eight categories.. so not feeling to good about myself/ability at the moment :(

Still...life goes on....busy with cutting again...and using some of the new dies I got some time ago...loving playing with the shapes and working the best colours....must get them finished so you can see them too...

Three more days before Gareth goes back to school...but we have friends round tomorrow for a craft session...(had to cancel it Tuesday as chaos ruled here)...need to tidy up a bit though :)

Fluttering around....

Haven't actually seen any butterflies today, but it's been nice and sunny here, so we have sorted some more of the back garden.....just got to sort some of the pots out now and put the new water feature together...that'll be fun...Pini's birthday next week, and we're doing a high tea...with hats and everything :)

Had an old friend from Primary School come round last friday....tidied the whole house before hand so that shocked Chris and Paula lol...now I'll have to see if I can keep it up...although if you look in the front room now a bomb must have hit :)

Had a crop yesterday at Titchfield Primary School and managed to get 5 layouts done...8x8's so not too big...but felt quite chuffed with myself :)....now need to put the rest of the images in my new boxes...as that seemed to help...and then hopefully I can get some done at home...will have to upload them and show you....

Madness....and Illness....

Yep...not been a good month...was very ill with a cold that we think turned into Larangitus..actuallly lost my voice over Easter...much to my 'friends' delight...sounded like a little girl apparently....anyway, have now recovered from that, although the pollen is giving me real problems this week...

Work wise I have still been busy....getting some new collections together...and also continuing with the old favourites....realised that a couple of items had been missing off the list for a bit, so rectified that this week...and the Chickens have proved popular this past month :)

The Photo I've put up is some of the Hats I've done...ready for Ascot, as well as Weddings,...do peope still wear hats to weddings???...Not that I have any to go to this year, but the Cherry Blossom is starting to fall of the trees down here, and I always associte that with weddings..:)..

Gareth is having a bath at the moment...in an attempt to calm him down a bit...has come back from school in a horrible mood :( ...He's got an appointment with the Psych people on Monday...Hope that helps...

Racing Round....

busy again...and this last week it has been the Racing Cars...I know the F1 Season starts next week, or maybe getting ready for Father's Day...

I have had a number of oversea's purchases again, which is great...this week I've had a request for the Californian Poppies, the Rare Breed Cows, and the VW Beetle cars for the USA...

Home life has been a bit frantic....Gareth has not been that brilliant at school or home a couple of weeks ago....thought it might have been his birthday that was on the 17th, but it carried on after that...I managed to get a referal to the Pshyc people, so will be organising an appointment next week....

I've not been well today...eventually woke up with only one side of my nose working...so have had a rest day....not really done anything except try and breath... :) ...x x x

Strange But True....

I have had so many orders for Halloween bits in this last couple of weeks....the photo's must be back from the developers.. :)

This when I was expecting more for bunnies, eggs, hens, roosters and chicks...especially with Easter and Spring just around the corner...although weather wise it has been nearer Autumn... :D...

I had a lovely request from a customer last week, a group of girls are taking part in a show, and she wanted little characters each showing their hair cuts....a challenge as no photo's, but a description...I won't show you just yet, but later on I will....they are cute....

It has been a busy month, went away for a weekend at half term, stayed with my Aunt in Exmoor, they had rented a cottage, and it was great as I didn't have to do a thing for two whole days...when I got back of course. that was a different story...

I am now putting together a large order for a customer in Canada...I am World Wide.....x x x

Hello all....and again I haven't stopped...I'm on now as Chris is having a meeting with the Insurance man in the front room, so rather than get in the way, I've given the dog a chew and I'm on the main computer.... These little cuties have been available for a while now, and I've just been asked to do some with Scotties instead of Westies.. :) ...I've also been playing with different colours ready for Valentine's Day...

This last weekend has indeed been manic...I have had several little orders and also several large ones, a couple have even been from abroad...and lots of different things too, Fairies, Needle and Cotton, Candy Canes, Tool Kits....need to update the Ebay site for those that have sold...

Gareth has had an up and down time...really good at school last week, but I paid for it at home ;(...and this weekend has learnt the harsh realities of life in that he has to help with the daily chores...so not so hot either...

Have a crop to go to on Saturday...and will be scrapping, not working...lol...if I start sorting now while cutting I may just be ready in time :)...back soon...Joy x x x

Happy New Year.....

ok...so we're 6 days into it...but would you believe this is the first opportunity I've had to update the blog!!!...No Kidding...I haven't stopped...I was actually wrapping Christmas Presents at 1am on Christmas Day....and cutting again on Boxing Day :) ....But I have managed a couple of new cuts with some dies I've had for a while, so I did have a little play during the holidays...

These are some of the New Handbag Collections I put together before Christmas....Same die as before but I've added a little Beaded Bag Charm on each one....this one has a sea theme, with dolphins, turtles, starfish and shells...

And now I must away to bed as Gareth has an Activity Day Out with school and I have to find his tracksuit bottoms when I get up....I'm also back to WW after the break, and to that I am not looking forward too..
