It's Raining...yay...

... I do so prefer the cooler weather...and at last it is raining...just as it got cool enough for me to decide to walk the dogs....still it was lovely and fresh and the dogs enjoyed going out...

Funnily enough we went to the allotment Thursday and planted out the last few seedlings, Mum said on the way home that all we had to do now was water and pick....of course we'll also have to weed :(

I have shown the latest collection of seed packets I made this week...Have worked out that if they have different packets they get different seeds colours too...they are small though, but having said that they can be used on cards as well as the smaller pages for scrapbooking...

Gareth is struggling with this heat too...as soon as he gets home he has to take his Tshirt off as he's getting heat rash again... He's had two activity days this week and has really struggled having got home...so we missed archery this week...but T has shown an interest in coming with us again....hope he's still interested next week...

Way Too Hot....

...to do just about anything this weekend....but as some of the kids start getting results and awards, I have started thinking of the Congratulations and Well Done cards that will be appriciated...

I have these books and apples, and also open/closed books and big apples...as well as the pencils and crayons...variety of options..

Gareth's school had their Prize Giving today, and he came away with Four Medals and loads of Certificates...

..so WELL DONE SON..

Thank You Teachers...

...Yes we're almost at the end of the school year and getting those thank you cards out is both necessary and appriciated...these are my little ones, which are so cute....but I also have the big Sizzix ones and also the Quickutz packet of crayons....well I will as soon as I catch up with everything else....

I can't believe over three months have passed...but then it has been busy....I also managed a Crop Day and got two 12x12 scrapbook pages completed, so very pleased with myself...:)

This past three weeks seems to be concentrating on getting ready for Christmas...yes sorry to mention this as Summer arrives, but needs must....this weekend I have also had an order for 10 sets of the knitting....I have also had fun with a specific request for butterflies, and also yellow ducks and a baby theme welly boots...

As always life in the family goes on...Gareth now has braces on his top teeth, and will be getting a second set on the bottom in August as he's doing really well with them...and on top of that got an ingrowing toenail over Easter, with the pediatry people seeing him last wednesday to remove the sides...although neither of us were expecting it to happen on the day...he has done really well...:D....

Birthday Invites...

times six....with the Mojo Monday site being the inspiration....:)...will upload on their site too, but I don't think this is quite what they had in mind..lol...

The dies are from Sizzix other than the Geko which is Quickutz, and then freebie papers from a magazine and the little gems were also a magazine freebie...the ribbon is 3mm red and green from the Range...:D

I'm impressed with myself as I don't use patterned paper very much at all, so have a big collection....will be checking out Mojo Monday's challenge every week from now on :)

Birthday Arrangements...

As ever I'm behind...have 'booked' the 13 March with everyone, but haven't sent...let alone made...the invites for it...so this afternoon (as my other plans have been changed) I'll be making them with the above dies...have you guessed it's a Mexican Theme :)

They are also listed on the site...have been trying to use the dies I've had in stock for some time..not much use in the boxes..lol....

Got a table top sale to attend on the 6th March...got lots of toys the Boy doesn't play with any more, so a far amount we can pass on....see how many cards I can make up ....

Well this isn't going to get the invitations made...chat again soon ..Joy x x

New Listing....

....on Ebay this week....Babies Dummies...or Pacifiers as they are known in other countries...

Had a request from Germany, and although I'd had the die a couple of months...you'd be surprised what dies I have hidden away :)....I hadn't had a chance to play....

Thay seem to go well with the Babies Bottle that I have already listed, and also the Booties that are on the same die....so I've done them all in the same colours and will put a mixed set up in a bit as there are only so many baby cards you need at one time..:)

Had a busy week as the kids were off school, and also had to get a new trampoline as the other was worn out....that took three hours to dismantle and put the new one up....I slept well last night...and as they go back tomorrow I will get a chance to catch up with the rest of my chores...the alloment needs a far amount of work doing...

The Six Nations...

..Rugby started today...and I'm sat here watching Wales v England on a nippy afternoon...

I didn't realise how busy I had been this last two months...but decided on a quiet day today as I had a stressful one yesterday..so I thought I'd show you my Bitty Rugby player...not in a uniform, but can be put in any colours prefered..:)...

I have now been asked to drop Chris off for a meal out with the OYT John Laing Crew...I've been inveted but I went out last night....so off I toddle to be the taxi...Joy x x
